I was finding some cheapest cars 2013 because I needed to buy a cheap car for my cousin as a gift. For that I visited more than 13 showrooms and contacted with several dealers. The words “best quality”, “more fuel efficient”, “more mileage” etc. were also in my head. While I was visiting from showroom to showroom and contacting with dealer to dealer. While contacting with them I was taking notes of different cars. Such as price, number of seats, model name etc. In this way before taking the final decision I was able to make a list of the 10 cheapest 2013 cars. At the end of this article I will share what car I bought finally for my cousin.
List of Top Ten Cheapest Cars 2013
So before saying what cheapest car 2013 I bought for my cousin I am going to tell some details of each cheap car from my note (what I collected while finding)
1.Nissan Versa 1.6 S ($12,780)
If you’re looking for the ultimate in style, functionality and low-cost then look no further than the Nissan Versa 1.6 liter. This vehicle offers about as much space as the Toyota Camry, but for only half the base price. While there isn’t much to talk about when it comes to styling on both the exterior and interior, the vehicle comes standard with a variety of equipment including AM/FM stereo, CD player, power windows/locks, automatic transmission, alloy wheels and even Bluetooth navigation at an added cost. Who are thinking only about less money and finding a really entry level car 2013 to own without thinking quality, I will suggest them to buy this one.
2.Chevrolet Spark LS ($12,995)
The Chevrolet Spark LS is a new model for year 2013 and it has been met with very positive views since its release. It comes standard with a surprising level of features and additions including power locks/windows, 10 airbags, alloy wheels and a surprisingly powerful engine. In my list of 2013 cheapest cars to own this is the 2nd one.
3.Smart ForTwo Pure ($13,240)
While the entire Smart lineup hasn’t really taken off in the United States, they are gaining popularity in other parts of the world. Despite its lack of popularity among Americans it still makes a great car for those on a budget. It features an automatic transmission but comes without an air conditioner or power windows/locks, making it a bare-bones model.
4.Ford Fiesta S ($13,995)
The Ford Fiesta is 4th among 10 Cheapest Cars 2013. This is a bare-bones low priced vehicle designed for cheap and efficient transportation. Despite the low price tag you still receive a few additional features such as air conditioning and an AM/FM radio with an auxiliary jack for your iPod or MP3 player. The Fiesta comes standard with a manual transmission; despite an automatic transmission can be added for $1095.
5.Kia Rio LX ($14,350)
The general problem of owning a cheap car is that they are well cheap, both on the inside and outside. However, the Kia Rio LX breaks this stereotype by selling a car designed with modern styling and an upscale interior that would be found in much more expensive vehicles. You can opt to go with a hatchback version of the sedan for only $200 extra, a price much less than the premium charged by Ford and Nissan for their respective vehicles.
6.Chevrolet Sonic LS ($14,995)
What’s the Cheapest 2013 Car? I asked that question to a local dealer and he suggested me this car strongly but I did not buy it. However with an MSRP of $14,995 the Chevy Sonic LS is the first vehicle on our list to feature a price of less than $15,000. Chevy has replaced their popular Aveo model with the new Sonic LS, which features surprisingly quality and high-end parts for such a cheap vehicle. The car comes standard with a 1.8 liter engine and a plethora of accessories including more than 10 airbags to keep your entire family safe.
7.Toyota Yaris L 3-Door ($15,130)
The Toyota Yaris has typically been one of the best-selling entry-level cars on the market for many years running. Despite the vehicle’s success Toyota has changed the overall design and features included with the car for the 2013 model year, reducing its value and making it the second option over other vehicles such as the Chevy Spark, which incorporates similar features but costs over $2,000 less. This is not only a cheap car but many suggested me this just like top cars for 2013.
8.Kia Soul Base ($15,175)
This is not the best one among of the 10 cheap cars of 2013 but the Kia Soul base model is priced at just over $15,000 MSRP and offers a surprising number of standard features including AC, power windows/locks, power mirrors and a stereo that is compatible with your iPod devices. The only downside is the automatic transmission costs extra, and comes in at a whopping $1,800. This car is only a good value if you know how to drive a manual transmission, as this is included in the base price.
9.Hyundai Accent GLS ($15,320)
Hyundai has done away with their most basic Accent model for the 2013 year and has introduced the 2013 Accent GLS model that comes standard with air conditioning and a CD player. The car also features an automatic transmission and its price about $1000 higher than the previous stripped-down model. Despite the good amount of leg room and a large back passenger seat, this car isn’t a good value when compared to similar cars on the market that retail for thousands less.
10.Mazda2 Sport ($15,515)
The Mazda2 Sport is an entry level sport vehicle manufactured by Mazda. The car features very good fuel mileage ratings and incorporates a “cute” exterior along with a functional interior that features better quality interior materials. The suspension is smooth and the engine is quiet, allowing for a quiet and peaceful ride. The major downside related to this vehicle is the overall small size which makes it difficult to carry a decent load of passengers or groceries, and the price is a bit high when you consider similar car the market somewhere in the 12-13 thousand dollar range.
